Delete your account
You can delete your Fireworks Bible account yourself, at any time, from inside the app. This works the same in the web app at app.fireworksbible.com, in the iPhone app and in the Android app.
Steps
- Open the app and sign in.
- Tap the account icon at the top of the screen.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Read what will be erased, type DELETE in the box, and tap Delete my account.
The app signs you out straight away. You can sign up again later with the same email address, but you will start with a new, empty account.
If you cannot sign in
Write to support@fireworksbible.com from the email address on your account, with “Delete my account” as the subject. We confirm the request with that email address and then delete the account for you.
What is erased
- Your email address and your name.
- Every device you are signed in on is signed out.
- Your notes on products and stores, your favorites, your inventory and purchase history.
- Your shopping lists and your saved shows.
What stays, without your name
- Your scores for products, stores and brands, and your comments and ideas, stay in the community averages and threads, but they no longer show who wrote them.
- Products, photos and prices you contributed that are already part of the guide stay in the guide, as the Terms of Use allow.
What we must keep
Some records are kept for the periods our Privacy Policy states, even after an account is deleted: the record of your acceptance of the Terms of Use, billing and transaction records, and the security and usage records that protect the service. Copies in our backups are erased within 30 days.
Subscriptions
If you subscribed on fireworksbible.com, deleting your account cancels the subscription at once, so you are not charged again. Time left in the current period is not refunded. Fireworks Bible does not sell anything inside the iPhone or Android app.
