Repeat infringer policy

Adopted 19 September 2026 by Fireworks Bible, LLC, an Ohio limited liability company.

1. Purpose

Fireworks Bible lets account holders submit photographs, price reports, product details, store notes and community posts. This policy says what happens to an account that repeatedly submits material that infringes someone else's copyright. It applies to every account holder and it is part of our Terms of Use.

2. No account is exempt

This policy applies to every account holder equally. It applies to our most active contributors, to accounts that have earned credit or standing in the service, and to anyone we have worked with directly. Volume of contribution is not a reason to keep an account that this policy says should be terminated.

3. Strikes

An account receives a strike when we remove or disable access to material it submitted because we received a valid notice of claimed infringement, or because we otherwise determine the material infringes someone's copyright.

A strike is withdrawn if the account holder sends a counter notification and the material is restored, or if we determine the notice was mistaken or was withdrawn.

Several items removed under one notice, on one date, from one complainant count as one strike.

4. What happens at each strike

First strike. The material is removed. We email the account holder to say what was removed, why, and that the submission rules require every photograph to be one the account holder personally took. We reverse any credit given for the submission.

Second strike. The material is removed, and the account loses the ability to submit content for thirty days. The account can still read the service.

Third strike. The account is terminated. The account holder is told in writing. We do not knowingly allow a terminated account holder to open a new account.

5. Termination outside the strike count

We may terminate an account at any point, without waiting for a third strike, where the circumstances warrant it. Examples are a single submission of a large number of copied photographs, a submission copied from a source the account holder was already warned about, a false claim of authorship made after a warning, or any conduct showing the account is being used to redistribute someone else's material.

6. Standard technical measures

We accommodate and do not interfere with standard technical measures used by copyright owners to identify or protect their works.

7. Records

We keep a record of every notice received, every removal, every strike, every counter notification and every termination, with the dates, and we link each one to the account that submitted the material. We keep those records for at least three years.

9. Changes

We may change this policy. The current version is always posted at this address with the date it was adopted at the top.
